Authenticity is "The Key" to Fulfillment

This week, I welcomed a new coaching client who is thrilled that I bring a little "woo" to my client sessions! I was very clear with her that I am not a traditional life coach and explained that I work intuitively, integrating astrology, tarot, energy work, and more into sessions. 

Her excited response told me everything I needed to know and confirmed she'll be a great fit and perfect addition to the AWN tribe. She's excited, I'm excited and I really can't ask for more than that!

I realize I'm not for everyone, and that’s okay. My goal is to support those who truly resonate with me, what I have to offer and appreciate my unique approach. 

By honoring my truth and sharing that I love including the "woo" stuff into sessions, I'm embracing my authenticity. The last thing I want is to work with someone who dismisses the very essence of what I offer. That would be absolutely soul crushing!

This is one of many experiences which reinforces that when we show up authentically without apology, we attract the right people—clients, friends, and community members who genuinely resonate with who we are and what we bring to the table. 

As they say, there is a lid for every pot, and authenticity is the key to finding those connections that truly align with us.

So What Does It Mean to Be Authentic?

 

Have you ever felt like you’re wearing a mask, hiding those beautiful parts of you that you tuck away because you fear judgement from others? 

You are not alone.  I’ve been there more times than I can count, especially when I was still stuck in the “spiritual closet", afraid to be seen.

There are times when our view of ourselves is so depleted that we believe we have to hide who we truly are and pretend to be someone we are not just to feel accepted.

We compare ourselves to others, worry about what others may think if we allow ourselves to be real.

Here’s the catch, it is absolutely impossible to attract our deepest desires if we never allow ourselves to be 100% genuine.  This is about choosing self-acceptance above all else!

Our value as human beings and spiritual beings comes from our eternal or spiritual truth, not from others input or beliefs.  When we choose to accept the truth of who we really are, we are choosing freedom and we are also choosing liberation from those people and situations that are dragging us down.  

Authenticity simply means that we show up as our true selves without apology. It’s aligning our thoughts, words, and actions with who we genuinely are at our core.

When you embrace your authenticity, you'll no longer feel the need to perform or seek approval. Instead, you can confidently begin living your truth, unapologetically!

Why Is Authenticity Important?

 

Living authentically allows us to:

✅ Forge deep connections – People are drawn to realness. When we show up as ourselves, we attract relationships built on honesty, trust and vulnerability as a strength. 

✅ Experience greater confidence – When we stop hiding, we cultivate self-acceptance, which leads to unwavering confidence.

✅ Unlock purpose and joy – When we follow what truly lights us up, life feels brighter, more aligned, meaningful, and fulfilling.

Fulfillment doesn’t come from meeting external expectations—it comes from honoring our inner truth. When we live authentically:

✅ We let go of self-doubt and trust ourselves more.

✅ We feel free to express our thoughts, desires, and emotions without fear.

✅ We create a life that reflects our true essence, not someone else's version of success.

Maybe it’s as simple as speaking your truth, setting a boundary, or embracing a passion you’ve been afraid to pursue.

You are WORTHY and it is your BIRTHRIGHT to live a life that feels aligned, joyful, and true to you. The world needs your unique energy—so embrace it, unapologetically, knowing that authenticity is "the key" to fulfillment.
